ATCO Pharma plant certification from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Drug Authority.

Based on the role of the Egyptian private sector, its active contribution to the national economy and its export orientation to increase the flow of the US dollar within the Egyptian market, and in line with the Egyptian State and political leadership, with the full support of the Council of Ministers and the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Authority, ATCO Pharma Pharmaceutical Group received a high-level delegation from Drug Authority of Congo. Where they were welcome by:Dr. Mustafa Abo ElNaga (Chairman of ATCO Pharma Pharmaceutical Industries Group),Eng. Mohammed Abo ElNaga (Vice president & Managing Director) andDr. Ahmed Mustafa Abo ElNaga (Executive Director of the Group). They were accompanied on the visit by:Dr. Ihab Farouk (Director of the Plant site) and Dr. Ihab Mohammed (Director of Quality Management of the Group)Dr. Mohamed Fathy (Delegated Manager of Export Dept.)and some members of the Executive Committee of ATCO Pharma Group in a two-day visit during December 2023. ATCO Pharma factory received great praise from the delegation, especially the standards applied in accordance with WHO, GMP standards, quality certificates issued by the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA); ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, and the quality certification certified by Britain QC 100. ATCO Pharma Group is committed to ensuring a better life for its patients by providing them with safe and effective pharmaceutical products with a distinct brand to fulfill this commitment, ATCO Pharma adopts a quality-based culture in which each member of the team has a well-defined role and responsibility. Quality policies are implemented through QMS and maintained through regularly monitored and audited performance to ensure that standards of conduct meet our high expectations of quality for customers and shareholders. The Group strictly adheres to quality standards and continuously strives to improve them in order to strengthen methods and procedures that ensure continuous compliance with the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices. By the end of the visit, ATCO Pharma Plant was approved and accredited by the Congolese Medicines Authority which will be followed by initiation of registration and export procedures.

Visit of Pharmacy students -Tanta University

ATCO Pharma for Pharmaceutical Industries has hosted a visit from students of the Faculty of pharmacy Medicine, Tanta University – to its factory in Quesna Menoufia.  Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sahar El-Hagar, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Vice Dean for Community Affairs and Environmental Development Prof. Dr. Amal Kabbash, Vice Dean for Education and Students Affairs Prof. Dr. Mona Al-Asar, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Activities Coordinator And under the auspices of the Graduates Unit led by Prof. Dr. Thanaa Al-Masry And with the Supervision and Organization of the Scientific Committee of the Tanta Pharmacy Students Union, and the Cooperation of: Dr. Ghada Al-Ashmawy Dr. Shaimaa Al-Ashmawy Dr. Walaa Najm Dr. Marwa Al-Sayed The visit was made in accordance to the protocol of scientific cooperation between ATCO Pharma for  Pharmaceutical Industries and the Faculties of Pharmacy, which stipulates raising awareness among pharmacy students of the importance of pharmaceutical manufacturing and linking the academic aspect with practical experiences to develop students’ capabilities and readiness for the career path. During the trip, introductory tours were conducted in all departments of the factory: the Research & Development unit, the Quality Control unit, and the production unit. This is in line with the keenness of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Tanta University to educate students and prepare them for the labor market, and to introduce them to the different fields of pharmacy, in order to produce a qualified and distinguished pharmacist.
