ATCO Pharma for Pharmaceutical Industries has hosted a visit from students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Badr University – to its factory in Quesna Menoufia -. 
In the presence of Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Jalal (Professor of Medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Cairo), the students were accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Hafez (ATCO Vet Technical Office Manager) and Dr. Remon Sabry (ATCO Vet Technical Support Manager). 

The visit was made in accordance with the protocol of scientific cooperation between ATCO Pharma and the Faculties of Veterinary Medicine, which stipulates raising awareness among veterinary students of the importance of pharmaceutical manufacturing and linking the academic knowledge with practical experiences to develop students’ capabilities and readiness for their career path.

The students visited various production and manufacturing units and were shown all the precautions that must be taken during manufacturing and production at its various stages and how to deal with each stage. They were also taken on a tour to the laboratories, which are: “Chemistry laboratories, Quality Assurance and Products laboratories, Product Stability laboratories, Microbiology and Molecular Microbiology laboratories”, which were used to analyze the active ingredients and final products; to ensure the quality of the preparations before they reach the end consumer.

At the end of the visit, the students expressed their happiness with this scientific visit and gained many experiences that will help them in their practical life.
