Atco Pharma for Pharmaceutical Industries, in collaboration with National Poultry Group, held a scientific seminar on poultry diseases. The seminar was attended by Professor Dr. Mustafa Bastami, Professor of Poultry Diseases and former Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University. Dr. Bastami gave a lecture entitled “The Current Epidemiological Status of Poultry Diseases in Egypt.” The seminar also featured a lecture entitled “How to Choose Antibiotics in Poultry Farms” by Professor Dr. Mohamed Hafez, Professor of Pharmacology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Benha University. Professor Dr. Ashraf El-Koumi, Professor of Pharmacology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Benha University, spoke about modern trends in drug therapy in poultry. The seminar concluded with a lecture entitled “Biosecurity in Poultry Farms” by Professor Dr. Mohamed El-Manawy, Professor of Poultry Husbandry at the Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University. The seminar was attended by: Professor Dr. Ahmed Maher, Director of the Technical Office of the Poultry Sector, National Poultry Group Engineer Hussein Gamil, Head of the Poultry Sector The scientific lectures were held in an atmosphere of dialogue, discussion, and questions from the audience. Dr. Ashraf El-Shafei, General Manager of the Veterinary Sector, and Dr. Ahmed El-Mahdi, Marketing Manager for Projects at the company, highlighted the services, technical support, and successful partnership between the two companies through ATCO Alliance.

ATCO Pharma for Pharmaceutical Industries and Cairo Poultry Company have successfully concluded a series of training courses on modern trends and optimal drug selection for the treatment of poultry diseases. The courses, which took place over a period of three months, covered the broiler, breeder, and grandparent sectors.   The courses were supervised by: – Dr. Ashraf El-Koumi, Professor of Pharmacology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Benha University – Dr. Mohamed Hafez, Professor of Pharmacology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Benha University.   The courses were attended by members of the technical office, veterinarians, and engineers from the Cairo Poultry sectors, as well as – Dr. Ashraf El-Shafei, General Manager of the Veterinary Sector at ATCO Pharma – Dr. Mohamed El-Omda, Marketing Manager for Feed Additives – Dr. Ahmed El-Mahdi, Marketing Manager for Projects and sales managers for the pharmaceutical and additives sectors.
